As part of the agency of record for the 2023 Giant Food BBQ Battle, I created a banner layout for all brand tents present and executed social posts outlining the samples available at each tent.

The theme for 2023 at the Giant Food BBQ Battle was Throwback to the 90s which was carried through every aspect of the event, especially through signage. Using the 2023 BBQ Battle toolkit my team and I developed, I created a banner template that I used to execute the banners of every single one of the approximately 125 brands participating in the event.

The BBQ Battle logo is complemented by a yellow background which transitions into red by a radical shape explosion. The brand tagline is shouted to everyone on Pennsylvania Ave in a bombastic typeface, followed by the brand logo surrounded by the perfect smattering of 90s confetti and squiggles.

I also developed the tent backdrops for IcyHot, American Farmland Trust, and EMD Sales (Kikuet, Malta India, Dulzura, and Carmela brands).

The brand banners within the World of Flavors tents were set apart with the flag of the country the brand comes from, as shown on the Kikuet, Malta India, Dulzura, and Carmela combination tent. All flags were given a consistent look by me using many colors in the 2023 BBQ Battle toolkit.

As part of the Alliance Marketing creative team, we stepped out a whole new look for the Giant Food BBQ Battle as the event theme was the 90s for 2023. Designed based on that branding, this was the first post on the BBQ Battle Instagram that teased what the theme would be for followers. 

These carousels showcasing each sampling tent that followers could hope to see at the BBQ Battle were created using the templated folder pop-up and background designed by my colleague. Each tent post shows what will be in store for each category with floating product collages.
